What are the conditions of application of the product warranty ?

NEXELEC offers a contractual guarantee for its smoke detectors in accordance with the provisions indicated in the user manual supplied with each detector.

INSAFE "10 Year Warranty" smoke detectors are guaranteed for 10 years from the date of manufacture of the product. No warranty coverage can be obtained in the event of a defect in the detector due to a lack of battery life. No warranty claim can be made without providing a dated proof of purchase. The 10-year warranty applies to smoke detectors manufactured between 2014 and 2015. The date of manufacture is normally indicated on the back of the product.

INSAFE "5 Year Warranty" smoke detectors are warranted for 5 years from the date of purchase of the product. No warranty coverage can be obtained without providing a dated proof of purchase. The 5-year warranty applies to smoke detectors manufactured in 2016 or later. The date of manufacture is indicated on the back of the product.

INSAFE+ and NETSECUR "2 Year Warranty" smoke detectors are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase of the product. No warranty coverage can be obtained without providing a dated proof of purchase. The 2-year warranty applies to connected smoke detectors manufactured in 2018 and later. The date of manufacture is indicated on the back of the product.
